Mauritius closes its doors to Réunion Islanders

Mauritius temporarily prohibits the entry of Reunionese citizens into the territory.

Pravind Jugnauth , the Prime Minister of Mauritius announced new measures this Monday morning to protect his territory from the epidemic of Coronavirus. A decision that comes into effect from 8 p.m. GMT tonight, for a period of two weeks.

Reunion Islanders more welcome from Monday 8 p.m. GMT

Among the decisions taken: the refusal of entry into the territory of travelers from Reunion.

Closed to European countries from Wednesday

As our colleagues from DefiMedia indicate , the Prime Minister therefore indicates today that his country was closing its borders to the European Union , but also to the United Kingdom and Switzerland from this Wednesday, March 18 at 8 p.m. GMT and this, for two weeks.
